On top of solid rock some soil collects on the edge of a rain pool. Then over time grass and cactus find their way in, to thrive when wet and hopefully survive when dry.

That's a nice one! Clean, crisp and clear looking. You got some good colors in there and I can see why some people fantasize about Sedona so much... It sure is an amazing and special place.
