Lighting Up The Canyons

in #photofeed5 years ago

Some nice light is seen breaking through the clouds and lighting up the red rock canyons. Sedona and the surrounding area is comprised of many majestic sandstone mountains and canyons. It's marvelous to behold the special light that graces this land!

Awesome picture. What camera do you use?

This image is from many years ago and was shot on film using a Pentax 6x7-2 medium format camera. I'm currently using a digital Nikon D-3800. Thanks for asking!

Cool. I took photography in high school. I’ll have to pick it back up when I have some time again. Love scenery shots.

Sounds like a good idea. It can be a lot of fun and it gets you out in nature. Which is good for mind, body and spirit.

The sky are looking so good

Pretty nice clouds that day. thanks.

That is neat how the sun highlights the mountains. The contrast in your photos never ceases to amaze me. You're like the hot cold combo king of photography. Haha

Thanks for the wonderful compliment. Contrast is extremely important when creating appeal, it's what makes things stand out and also helps to define depth. Super important to me.

So right, sweet light gives some fine color. Thanks for the compliment!

What a pretty scene. The canyon in the back really draws you in and gives a lot of depth to the image! Also nice clouds/sky and nice lighting as well. Cool overall shot and great composition. :)

Thank you Paul, that's nice to hear. This is an oldie but goodie and has a lot of character.
