Fairyland Canyon

in #photofeed7 years ago

Many interesting hoodoos are standing tall in the morning light seen here at a place called fairyland canyon which is located in the northern part Bryce Canyon National Park. The word hoodoo means bewitched and this area contains the most abundant amount of hoodoos found anywhere in the world. Fairyland Canyon is a fitting name for this collection of mystical rock formations.

Holy moly! Are most of your shots taken in roughly the same area or are they scattered all over the place?

I like the holy moly I say that a lot myself, thanks. Mostly Sedona but also the southwest, Colorado, Oregon and California.

Haha too funny, and wow okay so all over then. Crazy some of the places you can find. Are these more off the beaten path? Or easy access places?

These are mostly easy access, not far from vehicle parking.

Another wonder of Arizona. Curious name:

Hoodoo

Hi cinefilo, Bryce Canyon is actually just north of the border of Arizona in southwestern Utah. There are many awesome places in the southwestern United States.

Thanks for the clarification and apologize for the mistake.

No need for an apology It was actually my fault for not giving that information in the post I will pay more attention to that in the future. Cheers!

I fondly remember that trip to the haunted hills of Bryce Canyon and how the rock formations were called, "Hoo-Doos" after the which craft and devilry of the supernatural magic of, "Voo-do" Super cool shot!

Yea Jon that was a fun trip seems like a long time ago, Thanks!
