Cooling The Hot Earth

in #photofeed6 years ago

Solar heating of the earth's surface causes moisture laden air to rise up and condense. Forming clouds then rain which after falling in abundant amounts cools the searing hot ground and then rises back into the air as steam. It's a welcome relief and a beautiful thing to see. Your very welcome.

Thank you, It's a life of persistent work which I enjoy. And yes I'm happy.

Indeed a beautiful piece of nature and art!

That's very nice to hear, thank you!

You are a very good photographer! I have never seen such a nature. Only in your photos!

A good photo is the next best thing to being there. I'm glad you enjoy my work, thanks.

Virga is a pretty neat phenomena, I have seen the rain in the sky, and it never reach the ground. One time all the windows were wet and being rained on, yet the ground was dry, (Tall building, lots of windows, good views). It makes the sky look so misty no matter the time of day.

Virga can be extraordinary at sunset, so beautiful. Virga usually occurs when a small amount of moisture leaves the cloud and evaporates on the way down because the dry air near the ground eats it up. It's called a dry boundary layer. Thanks for your comment.

The view is very similar to the place where I live, in fact there is a place called "Valle Verde".

How nice' Do you have the mountains as well? It's quite a natural name for a valley. There's probably many in the world.

What a good capture of the steam when it rises and falls from the surface of the ground, very appreciated that view so important for knowledge.

Thanks for letting me know that. It's always nice to learn something new. Photo and science together.
