After The Equinox
Wildflowers are blooming in the foothills south of Sedona. This area is east of Camp Verde and the elevation is about 3400 feet. Sedona is 4400 feet and as temperatures increase the bloom transfers to higher elevations. So it's on the way up, and we can expect the variety and spread will increase until it peaks. There is already some bloom but the best is yet to come!

Very pretty! That's quite a nice shot. I like how you were able to get the mountains and clouds in there as well! Has quite a dreamlike feeling to it almost. Super colorful, the greens and purples and blues.. Very nice. Great capture!
The conditions wern't the best, but it still worked out. It was a lot of fun, we had a nice time and was great to get away for a few hours after a very busy month. Thanks Paul!

I see that the snow is now gone. Actually I never knew that snow exists in Arizona. I dont know much about the conditions there since im from northern Europe but Sedona looks like a dry mountainious desert.
This is an arid climate with low and high deserts Sedona is at 4400 feet and Flagstaff 7200 feet. The elevation determines the temperatures and the snow levels. Snow almost never sticks once below 1500 feet. Take care!
That's very pretty. That shade of purple is one of my favorite colors to see. It's so vibrant in your photo. Very nice. The blue color in the mountains is really neat as well.
