Moments that take your breath away

So here we are in 2020. It’s a couple of weeks late for a reflective post I know, but I must admit that every time I write down 2020 on a form it still feels a bit like I am living in a science fiction movie. This past year our family has pushed ourselves beyond what one would normally expect possible. From the frozen north of Canada and the birth of our beautiful third child, to epic outback desert road trips, and then off the grid completely into the blue yonder on our sailboat. It has been packed with crazy ups and downs; including some particularly testing lows and some sublime highs. For me at least, life has never been so visceral, so raw. Here we are floating around on 72 m2 of fiberglass, hearts on our sleeves, wind in our hair, all in it together as a family. Out chasing those moments that take your breath away.
