One Special Photograph
What you are seeing in this photo?.
If you zoom then you'll see a big group of Yaks. It was few years back when I was cycling on world's Highest Motorable road "Manali-Leh". I was crossing Sarchu there I clicked this image.
One local shepherd is taking all the Yaks to other place because it was no greenery to eat.
The Yak is a long-haired domesticated bovid found throughout the Himalayan region of the Indian subcontinent, the Tibetan Plateau and as far north as Mongolia and Russia. In India we can see Yak in Leh-Ladakh, Kashmir and in few places of Sikkim.

Namaste @trincowski, You got it. They were moving to zanskar valley from Sarchu due to vegetation. It was a experience to see them how they handle everything in such harsh conditions. Have a great day.
