Been eyeing this location all year for the milky way and finally got the chance this weekend with some clear skies. The best part was watching the moon rise, which was deep red, as well as being back in bed by midnight.
Also, kind of a funny story, I forgot the orange filter to go over my led light so I went digging through the drawers at the cabin looking for anything that might work. I found a pumpkin shaped plasticware suction cup lid thing (picture below). I'd say it did the trick.

Is this a composite?
No, but it's two photos blended together. I lit the inside for on shot then the outside and blended then together.
