The facts!
The Verona arena is a Roman inheritance from first century built in AD 30.
There is enough room for 30000 people, amazing because you can't tell that if you look at the size of it!
And the round facade shown in this photography is made from pink and yellow limestone by the way there was an earthquake that destroyed the biggest part of this facade, this is what left.
This arena was not made to be an amphitheater but there was bloody gladiator battles and people from all over was coming to see even assassinations.
