Last week I went up north to Saguenay, Quebec. There was still a lot of snow up there, but it was melting fast Here's a patch of open water at the edge of the lake.

One of the regions of the world where it takes a long time for spring to defeat winter, isn't it?
I probably couldn't live in such place, but it's beautiful to look at. Great shot!
