I saw that on the news. Really, really unbelieble that this is allowed to happend! Well I didn't attempt any climbing. I was doing a roadtrip from Lhasa to Kathmandu. Crossing the Himalayas, we had a two night stop not far from base camp on the Tibetan side. There were no climbers (not the season) no tents. It was a magnificent side. The view from our bedroom window was the same as on my photo :)
