A night in a volcano's crater, contemplating Igen Kawah 'as blue flames

Spending the half of the night to climb a volcano, slowly walking to the top, feeling every step is an effort when you can not breathe properly anymore. The sulfur gas and smokes, make it very hard to take a breath and it stinging the eyes till making you cry.

It is a hard way to get up to the edge of the crater, but frankly the effort is worth getting up there. This is what the inside of Mount Igen Kawah looks like at night, the blue flammes are dancing in the dark and are only visible at night time but they are still burning during the day... It is a fantastic show to see in a life time!
