The Devils Passage - Abandoned Shit Weekly Contest - №. 10 - "In the Woods!"

Here's my entry for the #aswcontest hosted by @customnature.

This abandoned shed that used to be a resting spot for hikers, is located near the hiking trail at the nature’s park called Vrazji prolaz.

“Vrazji prolaz” in Croatian means “The Devil’s Passage”.

Although this picture looks a bit dramatic, and the place seams like a good spot for the new Blair Witch Project movie, there’s nothing Devilish about it. In fact, the only connection with the name would be that it is a damn beautiful place.

A river runs through the canyon and you are hiking beside, or over it, through a series of small wooden bridges. At the end of the trail there’s a pretty big cave you can enter if having proper equipment.

I must come back in spring time, because I was there last year during the summer, so the river was dry. When in full power, during spring or autumn, the experience gets much better…
