Caravanserai

Caravanserais were common along the whole Silk road and served as a places where travellers, pilgrims and traders could rest and recover after a long day of travel. Except having a place to sleep and eat, pilgrims could exchange information and news about trade routes, which often were crossing where the caravanserai was built.
