Greetings dear Steemians

This is my first participation in the @photochallenge.

While traveling through South India, a local took me along to check out a tree house he was building in the jungle. The place is called Navamalai, which is close to Pollachi. We passed the coconut belt valley, before reaching Navamalai. His treehouse was literally near Aliyar Falls and next to a stream that had several natural pools for swimming. On our way there I sighted some Monkeys. The Bonnet Macaques (Macaca Radiata) who is indigenous to South India and common to the region.

Dies ist meine erste Teilnahme beim @photochallenge

Während meiner Reise durch Südindien nahm mich ein lokaler mit um mir seine Baumhütte zu zeigen, die er im Jungle baute. Der Ortsname ist Navamalai und befindet sich in der nähe von Pollachi. Wir durchquerten das Tal davor, den Kokosnuss-Gürtel von Pollachi. Sein Baumhaus befand in der nähe der Aliyar-Fällen. Unmittelbar neben dem Baumhaus war ein grösserer Bach mit Wasserfällen und mehreren Naturbecken wo man schwimmen gehen konnte. Als wir dahin unterwegs waren, sah ich einen Affen. Der Indische Hutaffe (Macaca Radiata) ein einheimischer Affe Südindiens.

My Entry: A Bonnet Macaques (Macaca radiata) Monkey

As soon as the Monkeys saw me they all came down the trees and started playing. They might have expected to be fed? I liked this shot because of the second monkey on the right that looks up from behind the wall.

Meine Teilnahme: Ein indischer Hutaffe (Macaca radiata)

Sobald die Affen mich sahen, kamen sie von den Bäumen runter und fingen an zu spielen. Vielleicht haben sie erwartet sie würden gefüttert werden? Ich mochte diesen Abdruck, weil der zweite Affe rechts hinter der Mauer hochguckt.
