'Scapes' photochallenge entry: village in the mountains with a play park in the middle!

This is my home village in the Pyrenees Mountains, an impressive region which separates France from Spain. Population 300.

You can just about make out the play park at the bottom of the image. Naturally my kids love it here and insist on coming every day to play :)

It is a play park with quite a spectacular view down the valley.

Some further details

I shot this image a few days ago using my preferred HDR technique which merges three different exposures to create a slightly surreal final image.

I use Photomatix Pro to merge the three images. The software can be downloaded from here

I am using a very old Canon 5D mkii with a rather dirty 70-300mm Tamron lens.

All my kit is desperately in need of an update!
