@photochallenge - Plants/Animals.
This photo is my entry for the 'Plants/Animals' #photochallenge and #wednesdayphotochallenge contest initiated by @photochallenge.
The tulip is a flower that has different colors due to the proportion of pigments that have such as carotenoids, cyanidin, pelagonidin, delphinidin, among others. These mixtures generate the changes that we know and that have made the fields of cultivation of this flower receive the name of "rainbow fields".
At present there are more than 5 thousand registered species of tulips in the whole world. The mixture and changes that these groups have undergone have allowed several dozens of hybrids to be known today..
