Whilst out walking in the Gap of Dunloe in Killarney I took a few photos of interest.
This photo of a tree is my absolute favourite, it looks like the the trunk a d branches have been tied in an elaborate knot or plait.

Thats a pretty gnarly tree!
It is, but I guess in a really amazing unique way.
like I wonder what caused it to grow in that way - what are the reasons?? Do love a good tree ;)
I puzzled over the tree too...it is deep in the heart of isolated countryside. Probably gnarly like the weather ha.
