This photo is an entry in a daily photo contest by @photochallenge. The theme is Monochrome Monday.

Today's photo is of a simple, imperfect Cosmos flower I found in my mother in laws garden. The light through the lens just happened to be perfect with the sun creating a balance of light and shade highlighting all the details in its form.
