Structures - Vertical city
This photo is my entry for the 'Structures' #photochallenge and #thursdayphotochallenge contest initiated by @photochallenge.
This clay pillar, which grew around the trunk of weeds, is a complex structure that provides the livelihoods of the ant population.
At first glance, everything is simple, but if we look inside, we will see that this is a ventilation system, a temperature circulation system, traffic flows along which working ants deliver soy prey to the storage facility.
This can be called a vertical city that goes beyond the concept - Structure. It is much bigger and more complicated; it is an infrastructure that is placed in a structure, in the form of an earthen pole.
