A Humble President
After long periods Indonesia has been ruled by presidents from military, now we have a president from grass-root civil.
President Joko Widodo, welknown as Jokowi, is a only local entrepreneur from Solo, Central Java. He began his political carrier as a mayor and won twice before elected as governor of Jakarta in 2012.
And like fairy tale, we never know about a good fortune of somebody. He continued his political chance in Presidential election in 2014 and defeated an ambitious general, Prabowo. He not only won a presidential election but also won the heart and mind most of people in Indonesia.
At that time people were bored the president from elites circumstance. They hungered a president from grass-root, someone who has no barrier to meet and greet.
We can see his smiles around the people. He feel secured by peoples who welcome him for what he does. He can make jokes to please the peoples, and they reply back sincerely. He is not like a president with full political images. He is a president from common people.
