Ciao Steemians!!!
Questi sono alcuni scatti che ho fatto l'anno scorso a Venezia, bellissima città del nord Italia.
Venezia è fantastica e anche se ci sono già stato 3 volte mi piacerebbe tornaci!
Fatemi sapere cosa ne pensate e se avete dei consigli su altri posti da visitare!

Scatto dal traghetto dove si vede il campanile di San Marco e parte della basilica di San Marco.

Scatto della chiesa del Redentore

Scatto del palazzo G.Stucky esempio di architettura neogotica applicata ad un edificio industriale.

Scatto della Casa-Museo appartenuta al geniale Mariano Fortuny, dal 1975 è uno dei riferimenti a Venezia per le arti visive ed esempio magistrale di gotico veneziano.

Scatto del ponte dei sospiri. Gli è stato attribuito questo nome perché la tradizione vuole che, ai tempi della Serenissima, i prigionieri, attraversandolo, sospirassero davanti alla prospettiva di vedere per l'ultima volta il mondo esterno.

E dulcis in fundo scatto della Basilica di San Marco, meravigliosa costruzione che è il simbolo della magnificenza e della grandezza della Repubblica di Venezia durante i mille anni di vita della Serenissima.

Hi Steemians !!!
These are some shots that I made last year in Venice, a beautiful city in northern Italy.
Venice is great and although I've been there already 3 times I would go back!
Let me know what you think and if you have any advice on other places to visit!

Shot of the G.Stucky palace example of neo-gothic architecture applied to an industrial building.

Shot on the House-Museum belonging to the brilliant Mariano Fortuny, from 1975 is one of the references to Venice for the visual arts and magistral example of Venetian Gothic.

Shot of the Bridge of Sighs. This name has been attributed to it because tradition requires that in times of Serenissima, the prisoners, crossing it, would sigh in front of the prospect of seeing the outside world for the last time.

And finally a shot of St. Mark's Basilica, a wonderful building that is the symbol of the magnificence of the Republic of Venice during the thousand years of Serenissima's life
