One of the many gardens that surround of this magnificent Palace
Hampton Court Palace is a royal palace nearby Richmond, south west London. It was the main residence of the famous English King, Henry VIII. Along with St James's Palace, it is one of only two surviving palaces out of the many owned by King Henry VIII.
These gardens, visited by thousands of people, were once the exclusive playground of kings and queens. New ideas and designs arrived from the Tudors through to the Victorians.
