Thick black smoke spill from a makeshift burner as workers burn garment and shoe factory waste to heat up bitumen in Chittagong city's CRB Satrastar Mor area yesterday. Such a mindless act by a railway contractor, who has been tasked with repairing the road, is seriously polluting the air, putting local's health at risk.
