My mineral collection part 5, Desert Rose

Today I will meet you to a crystal of gypsum, desert rose.

The name comes from the characteristic pedal look, and the fact that they are created in deserts.

There are two kinds of the crystal from selenite and gypsum, and the colour depends of the concentration of iron oxides.
