Makeup Tutorial Night Look

Step 1:

Start by priming your face. Choose a trustworthy face primer where you know that it will last you all night. Apply and blend it with your fingers.

Step 2: (optional)

Add a little bit of rose or peachy liquid highlighter into your foundation and mix it well. – if you have a pink undertone-> take a peachy liquid highlighter. – If you have a yellowish undertone-> take a rose liquid highlighter and mix it with your foundation or apply it before you’re applying the foundation. Why? Because when you’re going out like clubbing, there are cool-toned lights and these sorts of lights can change the base of your entire makeup. So, we just want to balance it out. The liquid highlighter will also give you that extra glow.

This is how I mixed the peachy toned and pink toned foundation together

Step 3:

Apply your favorite foundation.
Using a foundation brush or a damped sponge will give you a flawless foundation application. If you skipped the step with the liquid highlighter, then you can use the same technique with foundation. – if you have a pink undertone-> take a peachy undertoned foundation. – if you have a yellowish undertone-> take a pink undertoned foundation and mix a little bit into your main foundation.

Step 4:

Apply concealer & highlighting matte concealer
Choose a skin toned and matte highlighting concealer. The skin-toned concealer you can apply to areas where you need a little bit more of coverage and blend it in with a damped sponge or buffer brush. Then take the matte highlighting concealer which is a concealer that’s lighter than your skin tone and apply it under your eyes – to brighten up. You can use it also on the bridge of your nose, forehead, chin, and cheekbones if you like to.

Step 5:

Apply liquid contour
Taking a foundation that’s deeper than your skin tone is a great way to contour your face. Taking you foundation brush from earlier or a damped sponge can help you to blend your contour. Applying the darker foundation close to your hairline from your forehead, under your cheekbones, chin/jawline, and your nose. Then blend it into the skin so that it will give you a smooth bone structure.

Step 6:

Apply cream blush
If you want to use a cream blush, now it’s the time to apply before you’re setting everything with powder. Choose a beautiful cream blush or lipstick and apply it onto your cheeks. Start off with a little bit, and if you need to add more, you can always apply more. Blending it with a blush brush/ damp beauty blender or your fingers will give you a beautiful finish.

Step 7:

Apply translucent powder.
Take a big fluffy brush and set your face with some translucent powder you can also set your under-eye area with some powder so that it won’t crease. If you prefer setting spray, then spray the setting spray evenly over your face.

Step 8: Moving on to eyes.

When it comes to a night out makeup look, most people think about using some black eyeshadow or doing a dark Smokey eye, you can, but you don’t have to. I’m going to create a brownish/shimmer eye makeup look with a thick smoked out eyeliner.

1

Apply eye primer and blend it with your finger and then let it dry.

2

Add a soft light brown transition shade in your crease and above with a fluffy crease brush. Use the same shade on the lower lashline with a fluffy brush.

3

Add a dark brown shade on the outer part of your eye corner. Use a small and flat eyeshadow brush to apply the shade and then take a blending brush and blend it from the outer corner of your eye up to the transition shade. Take this shade also on your lower lash line however keep it to the outer part of your eye and close to the lash line.

4

Add some shimmer. Choose any shimmer or glitter you like in any color you prefer and add it to the mobile lid. I’m using a liquid shimmer eyeshadow which dries down after you have blended it into the skin.

5

Don’t forget to highlight your brow bone and inner corner of your eye. Dampen the eyeshadow brush will help you to pick up a lot of shimmer at a time. You can also use this highlighter on your cheekbone, nose and cupid’s bow.

Now take your favorite liquid or gel black eyeliner and create a thicker winged eyeliner. Start with a very thin one with a sharp wing, and you can make it thicker little by little. If you're happy with your eyeliner, you can take a black eyeshadow and add it to your eyeliner. If the entire eyeliner is covert with eyeshadow, you can take a smudge brush and smudge the eyeliner which means that the sharp lines are going to disappear.

7

Add some black liner to your lower and upper waterline. Choosing a black eyeliner pencil will complete the eye makeup look. Apply this black eyeliner on your lower and upper waterline to add more drama to the eye makeup look.

8

Finishing off with mascara. Choose your favorite mascara and add a few coats to your lashes. Looking down into a little mirror can enable you to apply the mascara without messing it up.

Step 9:

Applying some lipstick.
To finish off your whole makeup, applying a nude matte liquid lipstick that dries down before applying a tinted lip gloss can help you to get a long-lasting lip.
