I love this photograph for a couple of reasons.
One, I love symmetry: In photography, it is very pleasing to the eye, and gives a certain comfort the the spectator.
Two: I love churches, because the architecture is very smooth and flowing.
Three: I love how picture is set at a very low advantage point, giving us the impression of an over powered experience. A feeling like we are insignificant in the presence of the power of the surroundings.
