"Egyptian stars"

A low shrub arrived from southern Africa. Also representatives of this species can be found on Medagascar, the Arabian Peninsula and the Comoros. At home, only one type of pentas is grown - pentas lanceolate. The bush in half a meter pleases the eye with flowers-stars of red, white, purple colors. Due to the peculiar shape of the flowers, the pentas is also known as the "Egyptian stars".
