Boiling water in a plastic bottle

Notice the plastic bottle in the hot coals. We tried out a theory that one can boil water with a plastic bottle without the plastic melting. The best of all - it worked. The water boiled with no melting of the bottle. Only areas of the bottle which were not covered with water, change a bit of shape.
