Red : Original Photo & Poem.

in #photo8 years ago

Red was the color of the sea, she held it close to her cheeks on nights run a foul.  She said I was the color of heart.

Red was the night you fled, looking to be a star.  Much I cried in sleepless nights; the color of my eyes bleeding for a self that would never be, a butterfly as you.

Red was the color of your lips, so young and so still.

I pulled myself together from fragments but I am not what I was nor will be.

The worms eat at my soul and you; you flew to the stars.—dago
