My Trip in Japan
After many years of being a music producer, photographer, web designer and more and more (and the list goes way longer than that) to finally be working as QA analyst in software development for couple of years I allowed myself to enjoy some time off abroad!
It all began after meeting a nice woman in my home town, in Montreal (Quebec, Canada), after couple of months of dating I was aware she had to go back to Japan because of her Visa ending. I decided to book a trip an join her and visit! My plan was, let's have no plan but lots of fun while improvising!
Party time in Shibuya and Shinjuku (Tokyo) was amazing, the only con I can come up with is the cigarette smoking is still alowed in public space where alcohol is sold... Yup you can have a bunch of smokers next to you while you enjoy a meal in a restaurant (yuk)!
This following image is literally what I've been missing most since I got back from there
NomNomNom! Ramen is soooooo good! This place was mentionned as one of the best place to have Ramen in Shinjuku https://goo.gl/P9QEHc <--- here if you want to keep it in your "To Do list"
If you live in a city like Montreal or New York, you often think subway lines are confusing...
Tokyo is insanely complex, I have a friend who lives over there and I believe he's spot on by saying, Tokyo is a Functional Chaos! Other than rush hours in the metro where you have no choice of being stuck and touching people, when you walk in the streets of Tokyo you will rarely get bumped into by other people, even when there are thousands of people crossing the street.
One of the best geeky/nerdy moment for me was when we visited the Hotel Gracery in Shinjuku ---> https://goo.gl/ETscBb
Yup I'm a huge Gojira (Godzilla) fan and this was just amazing
If you are a beer lover like I am, it's really nice to know that Japan has an award winning beer and wow, me and my girlfriend had a fun time to visit the Suntory factory (FYI the visit is totally free and you also get to taste beer and snacks) --> https://goo.gl/PGif8H
These are just some of the highlights of my trip in Japan, I could easily keep on talking and post more pictures but I will limit my enthusiasm to these couple of pictures and thoughts. I ended up visiting Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka, my interest is focused on Tokyo and seriously if I didn't have the language barrier, I would move there tomorrow (oh my girlfriend would be happy lol)
In conclusion I will leave you with a picture I took in front of a temple in Kyoto :) I hope you like it, this is my first steemit post and I think I will manage to bring interesting content for your enjoyment moving forward!
nice post
thank you! :)
