all high tech architects agree on one thing, that is they hate the phrase "high tech" for the name of the styles they use. There are three reasons why they do not like the phrase: • In the early 1970s high tech expressions were often used to mention buildings that exteriorly use high technology, so high tech architectures have a fashionable architectural significance. • High tech expressions are an ambiguous expression. In high tech notion architecture is different from high tech in industry, high tech in architecture means a part of style applied to building. • In high tech America is a style but high tech British architects hate the word style as they hate the phrase "high tech". In the UK the high tech phrases are more rigid. So what is the definition of the high tech expression itself ?. The high-tech implicitly expresses several terms, among others, functions and representations - techniques or styles, mass production issues, structures and services - the pride of technology, space and flexibility - "omniplatz", and the poding of pods - practical strategies. For now we can only infer the character of the material used is steel and glass. In his book "The Modern Architecture of the End of the XIX and XX Century" Yulianto Sumalyo calls the high tech architecture an architectural techno-arthistic architecture with larger and more advanced manufacturing technology with major metal or metal construction. Architecture no longer takes the form of abstract scluptural as in the monumental architecture of concrete. Manufacturing materials are highlighted both inside and outside the room, so the materials, structures, systems and sub-systems of structures, construction and decoration integrally display a special characteristic architectural form. Which can be seen because exposed and become part of the decoration, not only the elements of construction but also all elements of the building such as stairs, corridors, mechanical, etc .. for more details please visit the site below.

Interesting read and I get that why they wouldn't want there work referred to as high tech. Maybe you could caption the photo letting people know what building this is and where it's located?
