The Adventures of Bebe and Shamika - Chapter 3 - Living On Island

Bebe and Shamika wanted to move away from St Louis, so they decided to live with us on Nantucket for a while...

On their first day, they met a puppy who followed them home...

Bebe wasn't used to the quiet and found it difficult to sleep at night, so he often stayed up late into the night making things. There were so many tools, he was intrigued by them all.

They met Baby Jamie, who was glad to have some friends her own size...

Shamika discovered fashion, and realized she didn't like pink very much. To her dismay it seemed that most all of the clothes made for girls, were indeed pink. So, Bebe decided to surprise her with a new 'non pink' dress, and set out to dye the fabric...

I was going to take a photo of the dyed fabric for him, but the camera was missing! Shamika swears she didn't take it...and I sure believe her...

After a few months on island, Bebe missed Furby...he was pretty sad and feeling a bit homesick. RC suggested writing him a letter, and got out the paper and a pencil. Bebe thought that was a good idea...

About a week after after we sent the letter, Bebe got a video message from Furby :) He gave Bebe all the updates, and asked when he was coming home...They missed each other very much...
