Galaxy S10: first glimpse of the specs of the model less than 700 €

The Galaxy S10 will be entitled to a cheaper version to less than 700 euros, some technical features have just leaked. The design is also evoked with the presence of an Infinity-O screen. This one should have a hole in place of a notch to place the front camera. The release of this smartphone is scheduled for early 2019.

The serial leaker Ben Geskin shares information on Twitter about a "Galaxy S10 Budget". This seems to be a "Mini" or "Lite" version. It must be understood that this is the cheapest version of the siblings. It is about a Snapdragon 845 or 8150 (855) coupled with 4 to 6 GB of RAM and 64 to 128 GB of storage. We learn that the fingerprint sensor is located on the side probably in the power button. There is also a dual main photo sensor on the back, but the leaker did not give details about them.

The leaker seems to hesitate between the flagship SoC of 2018 namely the Snapdragon 845 or Snapdragon 8150 which will be the new high-end of 2019. It is a cheaper smartphone, so everything is possible. Presumably, the Snapdragon will be reserved for a few markets of which the United States and Europe could be entitled to an Exynos version. We lack information on this subject.

We also know that an Infinity-O screen is present on this Galaxy S10 to hide the photo sensor in a hole. It is an alternative to the notch that seems to favor Samsung for its future smartphones. Other manufacturers such as Oppo, Xiaomi or Honor also offer sliding modules. The Korean manufacturer seems to want to adopt a more original approach.

The release of the Galaxy S10 is scheduled for early 2019. It is possible that the launch takes place in March 2019 after the MWC according to some rumors. In any case, Samsung seems to be preparing a new range of devices more ambitious than ever. This cheaper device adds to the Galaxy S10 and S10 +.
