Today, many information about Huawei Mate 20 was leaked to the XDA Developers forum after it was extracted from the source code of the operating system files that @FunkyHuawei posted on the Web.
According to the information extracted, Huawei Mate 20 will appear to be Huawei's first smart phone featuring the HiSilicon Kirin 980 processor, which will be unveiled at IFA 2018, which will be manufactured using a 7 nm process. Previous reports also stated that the processor will be Faster by 20 percent and more energy efficient at 40 percent, at least compared to the current HiSilicon Kirin 970 processor.
Regardless of the processor, the Huawei Mate 20 will also feature a 4200mAh battery that will mostly support Huawei SuperCharge and a 6.3-inch screen, while Huawei Mate 20 Pro is expected to have a 6.9-inch screen.
The source code for leaked files today also says that the Huawei Mate 20 will come with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory and will support fast charging technology, which suggests that this handset will continue to use glass in the backend.
The information extracted from the leaked files is specific to the Huawei Mate 20 phone, but we expect Huawei to also disclose copies of the phone. This phone will probably carry the names Huawei Mate 20 Pro and Huawei Mate 20 Lite. The latter may include the HiSilicon processor Kirin 710, recently announced by the company, which was first used in Huawei Nova 3i.
Finally, all versions of the Huawei Mate 20 are expected to come preinstalled with Android P, which means that the EMUI interface will also be upgraded in these phones
