Beware of spam and phishing links in transfer memos. Do not open links from users you do not trust. Do not provide your private keys to any third party websites.
The above is the disclaimer noted above your account history on your transfers page. I never knew what it meant until recently when I saw this.
An account @gtg.witnesses started spreading phishing messages through memos.
It is too late for @tomo15 though. As you can tell from the image, within hours, his account had been taken over and is now being used to further spread the memos.
Please learn from @tomo15. Do not open links sent in memos and do not give away your WIF/private keys to third parties...EVAR!!!!
What can be done to stop this?

I'm sure we'll see @gtg.witnesses end up in it. Let these be a lesson to those with ill intentions toward Steemit. You can and will be banned.
A tutorial on changing your recovery account please?
i think it is still not too late...when I check his account moves I see no sign of password change, so his active key should be working.
If he wakes up and immidiately changes password he can recover...
