Agree with your statement that "After all, happiness starts from what happens inside us, not outside." I also have read an article by a leading scientist that happiness is more related with our mind/brain...Our state of mind--or how we deal with informations from outside, how we think and respond anything around us--is more related with our happiness than just material wealth or prosperity...
