Hate speech.

I know that I'm talking about two different continents; but, England and Australia have a clear history.

Remember the Nazi Pug in the UK a few years ago?

A comedian, clearly as a joke, taught his girlfriends pug to raise its paw to the phrase "Gas the Jews."

He was facing prison time for the joke.

People are shouting "Gas the Jews" in Sydney, and meaning it.

How do any of you who support hate speech laws reconcile any of this philosophically?
