It is curious how you and I come to the same conclusions, since you started from a Buddhist approach, and I from a Platonic approach. Although I have realized for some time that both approaches are, in many aspects, the same thing, so I don't hesitate to mix ideas from both.

The mind is transcendental, so it breaks completely with linear causes and effects of the material world.
