From the makers of Inner Worlds, Outer Worlds, Samadhi the movie is a continuation of the ideas on spirituality that they touch upon in their episodes.
The title of the movie - Samadhi is described as an ancient Sanskrit word with no modern equivalency. The concept of Samadhi isn't something which can be understood on the level of the mind as it is a state of blissful union with the divine source.
Throughout the movie, the concept of Maya is introduced. Maya is a Hindu and Buddhist word which is used when referring to the illusion of the physical universe. The narrator likens Maya with the Matrix, as un-awakened individuals we are trapped in a matrix, or the mode of maya.
This introductory clip serves to open consciousness to the possibilities beyond the current human ego conception of the self and the world. This movie can be used as a tool to awaken us to the realisation of the illusion of our selves.
