What most of us have in common is interest in the crypto space and decentralization

Thank you for this great insight Markku. I could understand the mind and thought that has gone into this piece. I also believe in decentralization. But lets look at it, what if all we have heard about decentralizations are lies, going by the recent events? What if we are just transphasing into another realm of centralization but in a micro level and later macro level?. You would agree with me that decentralization is not as we experience here and in many crypto based setup.
I believe many came here based on the fact that they can do something and earn, which is tied to what we love to do. Decentralization comes more later. I can assume that the word decentralization and crypto to a noobs sounds wierd and unfathomable.

A lot of the hashing power in Bitcoin is concentrated into the hands of a handful of companies. Also, the distribution of STEEM tokens is, at this point, quite uneven. Decentralization is a very large topic needing lengthy discussions to even begin to unpack.
