Identity is the nexus between immanence and transcendence
To be able to define the interactive relations of existence, and therefore its essence, general interaction theory is distinguishing immanence (the inner part) and transcendence (the outer part) of identity.

To be able to define the interactive relations of existence, and therefore its essence, general interaction theory is distinguishing immanence (the inner part) and transcendence (the outer part) of identity.
Immanent is, what human identity is defining as self. Transcendent is everything else – all non-immanent existence.
The definition of existence as transcendence and immanence divided by its interactive interface (nexus), is the central explanatory model of the general interaction theory.
The nexus between immanence and transcendence, and if you like, the process of interaction, which is conditioning existence, resembles the consciousness of identity – that process is the actual experience:

The interactive relation of immanence and transcendence resembles identity
By definition it becomes clear, that this has to be applicable to any identity, because interaction is conditioning its existence. In different terms every interactive relation of immanence and transcendence resembles an identity – because every existent relation is unique. Therefore every interactive relation resembles a universe, a reality, thus through the differentiation and interaction of that duality a subjective reality is created and experienced. We will see that out of this results a multiverse – the interactive multiverse.
It becomes clear – every conscious identity can only experience its own subjective reality, can exist in its own universe. Every interactive relation can eist only once.
Seen that way, the universe in which we are located in, is a unity – identity which exists through interaction between inside and the outside.
There is only one existence, and as immanence interacting with transcendece the self is the manifestation of subjective reality and the universe.
