The world is illusion?
Get your teacup ready. Is it warm? Is it next to you? Ok now get a blanket and sit and read this slowly. Let it be taken in. Each line is a rich exploration. Don't read it to finish but rather read it to unfold.
The great teachers have said the world is an illusion.
When someone dies we feel them stronger than before
When at a rock concert there are no boundaries.It feels like one big vibration. The music is us
The sky does not stop as it approaches us, we look out as the sky to the sky
That car across the street... find the light sense that connects you to the car, what is it?

Where was your head?
- Listen to a song, notice how the song plays in the same part of your mind as your thoughts. They rent the same place.
Is the song over there then?
- Your center? Your center is everything.
We see the world as IT being over there and YOU navigating through it. This is the illusion
It's more like this... The sense of Presence appears as everything, even a YOU looking like you are within something.
In truth feel what is there. A feeling of everything just dancing within this energy called YOU.
Work with this, experiment yourself.

So, what would you say about the mental jukebox? It's highly unusual for there to not be a song going through my head. It plays when I wake up, when I go to bed, sometimes through my dreams...
i love your thoughts about the dead as well. Perhaps that's one of the reasons why we tend to find out about someone more once they've died than for all their wonders when still alive. (Stan Lee, for example. I wasn't really aware of him before, but now I know he was a wonderful person.)
Anyway...

The mental jukebox. I love that, cool way to phrase it. Most teacher will say try to quiet the mind. uhm... bunk. It cant be done. However it happens automatically when you start to look at stillness as YOU. This post was all about exploring who you are? You are not the mind.
