Things to Do Before You Die

I got to thinking about this during a trip to North Carolina recently. We are contemplating a of move from the greater Seattle area to be a little closer to family, and have explored the Research Triangle Park area of Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill. There are a lot of science/tech jobs, the cost of living is much lower, and generally seems like a nice place to raise a family. After racking up countless miles hopping from town to town, we made our way back towards the Chicago. Before leaving the state, we decided to make a quick stop in Asheville, which has been described as a "cesspool of sin," but also a quirky, artsy, fun town.

We came across this wall which provides an area for people to write what they would want to see or do before they die, and it is interesting to see some of the responses. From getting drunk to being a grandmother, there is really quite an interesting variety. For me, I would like to see my son find happiness and success in life. What about you?
