RE: Artisanship = Art-Is-A[n]-Ship: The vessel of emotions [Dabbing with a Mage episode 136]

Feelings can be made into art... do you consider writing as art? Feelings can be put into writing, but maybe paintings and sculpting etc.. is more "pure" more "raw"...

The best "art" i know of is music, fellings can be stored in it, and they can be transmitted and sometimes even triggering other feelings on the person... Do you consider music as art?

I absolutely consider writing an art form. I am along the lines of the ancients, I tend to think that all things are a form of art in the right eyes. Reality grids map our understanding of experience, and who is to say one is greater than the other? One may be more effective at one thing, while ineffective at that which the other is proficient.

I think that music is a very powerful form of art, but I have found painting/drawing - that which is visual - to be the most powerful. Visual media can really strike deep at the psyche, the subconscious speaks in symbols/nonlinear-thought. Music is more linear than nonlinear, but still carries very powerful effects due to the vibratory nature of the tones in use. Really, I think it just comes down to the individual and what they are more "susceptible"to.

Yeah painting and drawing are very powerful indeed, especially the abstract ones imo, because painting something that has no form or shape besides the artists mind can really bring out emotions!
