People forget to take retirements throughout their lives. Like maybe a month a year, which if you plan a bit, is totally possible: take a month every year to do something you might otherwise wait to do at the age of 65. Learn sword fighting, go scuba diving, live a month on a tropical island, learn to make furniture... Whatever. Just do that one thing a year and appreciate it's part of your 'retirement' - just now, instead of somewhere in the future (that might never come, because nothing is guaranteed.)
