RE: Twisted consent in modern society (bait & twist vs. bait & switch)
I worked for a medical equipment company that made disposable patient sensors (thrown away to avoid cross contamination.) They were making good money on them, but they wanted to cut costs....
They sourced the sensor from China. It was unsafe, and I rejected it six times for test failures.
They wanted to cut costs anyway, so they fired me, and bought them in in spite of my objections.
The business went from 12 million dollars to 3 million. So They lost a lot more than I did, ROFLOL!
>:(
Did you sue them for unjustified termination and unethical procedures? I think OSHA could ensure you get a nice compensation, not sure (we're from different countries, different law systems).
They closed this branch and fired everyone, so there would be no lawsuit.
They still owe me severance, but when I tried to sue, they tied it up so bad that it would cost me more than I got out of it to continue.
When their sales tanked, It amused me. Like I said, they lost more than I did, ROFLOL!
