Metaphysical Philosophy. Metaphysics is structured from two syllables, meta and physics. In language, meta comes from the Greek after something or behind something. Physiika means real, concrete, measurable and reachable to the five senses. Thus, the metaphysical language means the existence of something behind or after the physical (real, concrete and measurable).

The existence behind or after the physical is called metaphysics. This existence, in the philosophical perspective, needs to be examined. So important is the study of the existence of the behind or after the physical, the philosophy of science opened a new branch of science. The branch is named ontology. Thus, ontology is the study of something behind the physical or the existence of something after the physical.

M.J. Langeveld (tt: 132) calls metaphysics a science. Metaphysics will examine the theory of circumstances. Langeveld quoted Nicholas Hartman who interpret metaphysics as: 1). A special place reserved for transcendent objects and speculative areas for responses to God and human freedom and soul. 2). Metaphysics can also be interpreted as a base for speculative systems, theories and the world's response to something that exists outside the physical-empirical dimension.

Another Meaning of Metaphysics
If the above meanings serve as a basis for understanding the word metaphysics, then, in general metaphysics can be translated as the study of something whose existence is behind the physical or study of something that exists after the physical. The study of God (can be read behind the physical) and eschatological issues (can be read after the physical), entered into the study of metaphysics. Other things such as the reward and punishment of the grave or the resurrection of humans in the Hereafter, will obtain the place of study in the metaphysical family. This is the great philosophy of science.

However, since the study space of this paper examines the science in terms of philosophy, then, certainly the metaphysics here is: Does science now exist, has a linkage table with a metaphysical dimension? Or it can also be questioned, how should science be sourced? Is it purely physical-empirical? Or is there another deeper area beyond the physical one? This is the crucial urgency of the study in this section.

A Little History of Metaphysics
The history of metaphysics is interpreted differently by the experts. Jean Hendrik (1996) mentions metaphysics for the first time popularized Andronicos of Rhodes around 70 BC. For what is the study of metaphysics in the context of our present study. This science turns out to be used as a study or thought about the ultimate nature of a real or varied reality or situation. In general metaphysics can be divided into general philosophy of metaphysics and special metaphysics. This division and branching must also be added to the dependence of understanding and the flow of each philosopher and scientist. One branch is acceptable to a stream and automatically rejected by another stream. Vice versa. It should be considered normal.
