I have found Heraclitus very relevant especially in a political context. His writings on constant change gave me the idea of dynamic equilibrium (same basic concept, different terms) in politics. Also Hesiod (approx 750 BC) "Judge rightly ye crooked judges." Good post!

I like how Heraclitus explained life as flowing water as a way of emphasising how our liveness is found in how we react to external stimulus, not in any fixed position or belief. Our world is always changing, as are we.

YES...That what makes him so relevant today!
