To help pull ourselves out of the feeling of purposelessness, we would be implementing THANK YOU(s) we got from the people we have done good deeds for.

Recall Albert Einsteins' word

"A life lived in the service of others is never a life wasted"

So i was in the toilet today(not to be obscene) taking a shit and i got thrown into the feeling of purposelessness realm and this really made me feel down.
Then i heard a knock on my door, i responded and ushered the fellow in. He needed my help to get his ATM to work as it was saying (card not smart). I advised him to clean the golden chip with mentholated spirit (You can try this if your credit card is having this problem also), he did so and came back full of joy and he said those words "Rabiujaga THANK YOU!".
I do not know of how i got thrown out of the realm into EUPHORIA as i got the feeling of happiness myself...
i still stayed inside the toilet and thought deeply about the occurrence and i was able to rationally decide that the word not only made me happy but regressed me to a time where i was happy and i also got to remember all of the good deeds i had done and the smile on everyone's face i had helped.
All i am saying is that when you are feeling sad or feeling purposeless,

Count the favors you have done

1. if you can't think or accumulate it in your head, pick up a pen and paper and write down a list of all the people you have helped and gotten a thank you from or better still a TALLY SYSTEM; one for each favors.

2. Paint a mental image of all of them and the smile they had on their faces; whether it's that elderly fellow you had helped carry his luggage, that street hawker you gave a huge tip, that single mother you bought milk for her growing baby, that family member you supported her child's education, that alms beggar you gave new clothes, THAT FELLOW ON STEEMIT YOU GAVE A BIG UPVOTE.
   Let yourself drown in that mental image and by the time you know it...

VOILA ! ! !

Before you know it, You are already smiling....
